About This Benefit

VetsRide provides convenient transportation for eligible DC veterans with 16 vouchers per month for rideshare and dispatch services. The program operates 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days a week, for medical appointments, employment, housing, and other essential services.

VetsRide Transportation Program is a state benefit administered by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for eligible veterans in District of Columbia.

To qualify, veterans must meet the following requirements: must be a resident of district of columbia; for unemployed veterans.
