About This Benefit
Clothing allowance. Available when: Your outer clothing was permanently damaged by the wheelchair, prosthetic or orthopedic device that you use for your condition, or your outer clothing was permanently damaged by the medication you take for your skin condition.
Clothing allowance is a federal benefit administered by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for eligible veterans across the United States.
To qualify, veterans must meet the following requirements: must have a service-connected disability.
